iVUE Camera Affiliate Program: Terms and Conditions

Thanks for wanting to share iVUE. This program pays creators who show real people our camera glasses. Please read these terms before you apply. By joining, you agree to them.

1. Joining

1. We review every application and may approve or reject any of them, for any reason.
2. One account per person. A second account under another name, email or channel is not allowed.
3. Apply as yourself. Never use someone else's name, identity, channel or website. If you list a channel, it must be one you own or run.

2. What you earn

1. You earn 15% commission on the cart total of each referred order, excluding tax and shipping.
2. A referral counts when a customer clicks your link or uses your code. That starts a 60-day window, and orders the customer places in that window are credited to you.
3. If a customer clicks more than one affiliate link, the most recent click gets the credit.
4. An order that comes through both your link and your code earns one commission, not two.
5. No commission is paid on orders that are refunded, returned, cancelled or charged back.

3. Your code

1. Your personal code gives your audience 10% off.
2. Your code must identify you, for example your name or your channel name. Generic or guessable codes such as WELCOME10, SAVE10 or DISCOUNT10 are not allowed. We may rename or remove any code that does not identify you.

4. Getting paid

1. Payouts go to your PayPal account after a referral is approved.
2. We review every referral before approving it. Commission earned through a prohibited method (Section 6) is not approved.

5. What we welcome

1. Genuine reviews, videos, social posts, blog posts and newsletters on channels you own or run.
2. Honest content. Show the glasses as they are, use the specs we publish, and say what you liked and what you did not.
3. Clear disclosure. Tell your audience you earn a commission, in plain words, every time you share your link or code (for example "I earn a commission if you buy through my link"). This is required by the FTC, and we require it too. A disclosure hidden in a profile link or a pile of hashtags is not enough.

6. What is not allowed

Any of the following ends commission for the orders involved and can end your membership.

1. Coupon and deal sites. Posting your code or link on coupon, deal, voucher, cashback or "promo code" sites or apps, or in their forums and comment sections.
2. Browser extensions. Using, or letting others use, browser extensions, toolbars or plugins that apply codes or set cookies.
3. Bidding on our name. Bidding on "iVUE", "iVUE Camera" or any misspelling or variation of them in search or shopping ads on any platform. This includes using them as keywords, in ad text, or in a display URL.
4. Posing as iVUE. Ads, pages, accounts or domain names that state or suggest they are iVUE, the official store, or an official partner. iVUE is a registered US trademark (Reg. No. 5,506,150), and you may not use it in a way that confuses people about who they are buying from.
5. Misleading offers. Claiming a bigger discount than your code gives, a fake deadline, a "sale" we are not running, or any product claim we do not make.
6. Self-referrals. Buying through your own link or code, or having family, friends or anyone in your household do it to earn commission.
7. Spam and cookie stuffing. Unsolicited email, messages or comments; forced clicks, pop-ups, hidden frames or any method that sets a cookie without a real click from a real person.
8. Recording-law shortcuts. Promoting iVUE for recording people where it is not allowed, or with spy, hidden or covert framing. Our cameras are visible, and we expect you to tell your audience to know their local rules.

7. Our rights

1. We review every referral and may deny commission on any order earned through a prohibited method.
2. We may reverse commission earned through a prohibited method, including commission already approved but not yet paid.
3. We may suspend or remove any affiliate, and deactivate their link and code, at any time.
4. We may change these terms. We will notify affiliates before changes take effect, and continuing in the program after that date means you accept them.

You can leave at any time by emailing support@ivuecamera.com.

By joining the Affiliate program, you signify your approval of the terms set out in this Privacy Policy, and other terms and conditions. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you must not use the affiliate marketing system.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our privacy practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. By continuing to our affiliate program after these changes are posted, you agree to the revised policy.

Personal Information Controller

Any personal information provided to or gathered by UpPromote under this Privacy Notice will be stored and controlled by UpPromote (the data controller).

Information collected from Merchants

When merchant uses the app, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account such as email, first name, last name, shop information (shop domain, shop currency, shop address …). We collect this information to provide you with our Services; for example, to confirm your identity, contact you, provide customer support when you contact us, provide you with advertising and marketing activities.

Information collected from Affiliates

When an Affiliate signs up to join a program, we collect some information to inform merchants such as email, personal information, payment details and social network information,...The information would help merchant evaluate affiliate background and potential, along with process specific activities within the app and contact affiliate if needed.

Information collected from Customers when visiting merchant website

In order to track referral order, when customers visit merchant website and make a purchase, UpPromote system will collect information of order such as total order, order items, order ID,....

About Cookies

“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier.

Cookies are created when a user's browser loads a particular website. The website sends information to the browser which then creates a text file. Every time the user goes back to the same website, the browser retrieves and sends this file to the website's server.

Because cookies allow you to take advantage of some of Affiliate marketing system’s essential features, we recommend that you leave them turned on.

Information sharing

Ensuring your privacy is important to us. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described in this privacy policy. We may share your personal information with third-party service providers who we employ to process specific functions; examples include providing email marketing activity, analyzing data and other marketing support,... Third-party service providers have access to personal information only as needed to perform their functions and they must process the personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may also disclose your personal information to any third party with your prior consent.

Use of UpPromote app by Children

UpPromote is not intended for children. If you are under 13, you may use the affiliate marketing system only with the supervision of your parent or guardian.

Your Rights

UpPromote understands that you have rights over your personal information, and takes reasonable steps to allow you to access, correct, amend, delete, port, or limit the use of your personal information. If you are using the system and wish to exercise these right, please contact us through info@ivuecamera.com. We may require that you provide us with acceptable verification of your identity before providing access to such information.

If you are an affiliate and wish to exercise these rights, please contact the merchant you interacted with directly — we serve as a processor on their behalf, and can only forward your request to them to allow them to respond.
